PLN #6
I chose to read an article about Micheal Vick being indicted for a second and third time over his recent dogfighting charges. A Virgina grand jury brought two new charges against Micheal Vick and three others, one of them being unlawful torturing and the other being killing dogs and supporting dogfights. Each of these charges could result in five years in prison each. Vick already faces 12 to 18 months jail time after pleading guilty to federal conspiracy charge of bankrolling in dogfights outside of his home in Virgina. Vick's lawyers replied that they will work aggressively to make sure he is not charged with these charges. One of Micheal's "companions" in the dogfighting faces three of those charges while Vick faces one. All four of them are going to be arraigned on October third and will be faced with a tentative trial on November 27th. In this article the main thing that sticks out and really seems to matter is the fact that someone(s) could torture an animal like that and makes me wonder whats going through they're mind when they're watching/participating in it. I cant come to see how someone would enjoy it the only thing i can think of is the betting and winning money but why did they have to do it on dogfights, why not football or baseball?

Joey, you did a good job! maybe next time you could speak clearer, not look at your paper so often, and keep eye contact. Other then that, good job!
Joey, I thought you did a good job summarizing each of you entries, but I think you coulg have explained your opinion and how each relates to you. Also more eye contact would be good. Good job all in all.
I think that you could have looked at the audience more but you were easy to hear and you were very descriptive with presenting your pln entries.

Joey, I think you did a really good job on your presentation. You could try to look at the audience more but other than that good job.
Joey, your talk was very intriguing. Throughout your presentation you smoothly transmitted to every conversation. But next time look up at your audience and make more eye contact. Other then you did very good.

However you did not tkae your eyes off the note cards so my advice to you is make more eye contact with your audience.

Joey, you did well summarizing your articles. I think next time you could make more eye contact rather then just reading off your piece of paper. And that you could explain how this relates this to yourself. Anyways, nice job!
Joey! Good job on your presesntation! I think its cool that there could be life on other planets. I like the electric chair story, and I agree that it was fair for him to go in the chair because he chose it. Thats reall gross about guys not washing their hands. I thought you could have had a little more eye contact. I don't like that man who did the dog fighting, he should most deffinetly go to jail for longer then 12-18 months!! Good job!

Joey! I think you did a great job. You did a good job on being loud and clear. There were only two things I thought you needed to work on more. Those two things were more eye contact and talking a little slower. But you still did amazing!

Joey, I thought it was very interesting that their could be humans on other planets in twenty years. It is also weird how Neptune has a hot spot. The only thing I would say you could change, is that you should apply this to yourself and to the world.

You spoke nice and clear for us on your presentation. Good job remembering to talk about all of your PLNs and asking a question at the end. I would try making a little bit more eye contact, but I know it's hard to be the first presenter.

Good job Joey! You did a great job speaking clearly and explaining your points. Also, as you asked, I think that life on other planets could be possible. If we can do it on the moon, anywhere is possible. Next time, maybe make more eye contact with the audience.
